The Escapists offre aux joueurs la chance d'avoir un aperçu humoristique de la vie en prison. Comme c'est le cas pour tout détenu, l'objectif principal consiste à s'évader ! Étroitement surveillés par les gardiens, les joueurs devront accomplir leurs tâches quotidiennes tout en s'appropriant clandestinement et en dissimulant divers objets.
