Eres el Adelantado, un líder que sirve a la Reina Abrasada con la misión de recuperar lo que reclamó la naturaleza y hallar riquezas para la Ciudad Ardiente: el último bastión de la humanidad contra la Tempestad que asoló el mundo. Al contrario que muchos de los juegos de supervivencia y construcción de ciudades en los que te centras en una sola ciudad, en Against the Storm tendrás que construir una red vasta y próspera de asentamientos poblados por varias razas de fantasía, cada una con sus propias especializaciones y necesidades.
